Privacy Policy – Portline Extensions

Overview

These Chrome extensions are developed by Portline (“we”, “our”). The extensions assist users with auction workflows (e.g., navigation helpers, UI automation, price tools) on third-party sites such as Copart and IAAI.

Data Collection

We do not collect, sell, or share personal data to our servers. The extensions process information on your device only to provide core functionality. No information is transmitted to Portline-owned servers.

Data the Extensions May Access Locally

• Page content on supported domains (e.g., copart.com, iaai.com) to read listings you are viewing.
• Local settings (e.g., preferences, UI language) stored via Chrome storage.
• Active tab information when you invoke an action requiring activeTab.

Any credentials you use to sign into auction platforms are handled by those platforms directly. The extensions do not intercept or transmit your account passwords.

Permissions & Purpose

• permissions: storage, activeTab, scripting, tabs – to apply UI helpers and save preferences.
• host_permissions: limited to auction sites (e.g., https://*.copart.com/*, https://*.iaai.com/*) to read relevant page data and inject UI elements.

Data Retention

Only minimal preferences are stored locally in your browser. You can remove them by uninstalling the extension or clearing Chrome site data.

Third Parties

We do not use third-party analytics or ads in the extensions. Interactions with auction platforms are governed by their own policies.

Security

We follow the Chrome Extensions best practices, including a strict Content Security Policy and least-privilege permissions.

Children’s Privacy

The extensions are not intended for individuals under the age of 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.

ექსთენშენები არ იყენებს ანალიტიკას ან რეკლამას. აუქციონის საიტებთან ურთიერთობა რეგულირდება მათი პოლიტიკით.
